Plywood is a material manufactured from thin layers or "plies" of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another. The top and bottom layers are protective and bit smaller, called Face Veneer, and the middle layer is a bit thicker, called Core Veneer.
Standard sheet sizes of 8ft x 4ft, available in a range of thicknesses from 3mm to 25mm.
Furniture making, wall panelling, flooring underlay, roofing, packaging crates and general construction.
Strong, stable, resists warping and splitting, uniform strength across the panel, and easy to work with.

Particle board, also known as chipboard, is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood chips and a suitable binder, which is pressed and extruded.
Available in standard 8ft x 4ft sheets with thicknesses ranging from 12mm to 25mm.
Flat-pack furniture, kitchen cabinetry, shelving and flooring underlays.
Cost effective, consistent density, smooth surface for laminating, and good sound insulation.

Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming it into panels by applying high temperature and pressure.
Standard 8ft x 4ft sheets, thicknesses from 3mm to 30mm.
Cabinet doors, mouldings, furniture, laminate flooring cores and decorative panelling.
Smooth, dense and uniform surface, free of knots, easy to cut and shape, and takes paint and veneer well.

Blockboard is one type of engineered compound plywood board where softwood strips are joined edge to edge and bonded together, machining often a sandwich structure placing plywood face veneer on top and bottom.
Standard 8ft x 4ft sheets, thicknesses from 12mm to 25mm.
Table tops, doors, partitions and furniture requiring extra rigidity.
High strength-to-weight ratio, holds screws well, and resists warping over large spans.

Film faced plywood has two sides coated with wearable and water proof film. The film is adhesive impregnated paper, which is different from melamine paper overlay. The function of the film is to protect the inside wood from moisture, water, weather and extend the plywood's service life. Film faced plywood can be used in harsh and outside environments.
Standard 8ft x 4ft sheets, thicknesses from 12mm to 21mm.
Concrete formwork, outdoor structures, and marine or exposed environments.
Waterproof, reusable, weather resistant, and extends the service life of the plywood.
